Every week, Maria Santos arrives at our distribution center at 5 AM. She's been doing this for three years, rain or shine, holidays included. This month, she reached a remarkable milestone: 500 volunteer hours.

A Journey of Service

"I first came to FutureThink Hub as a recipient," Maria shares. "My family was going through a hard time, and the groceries we received made such a difference. Once we got back on our feet, I knew I wanted to give back."

What started as occasional Saturday mornings has become a central part of Maria's life. She now helps train new volunteers and has become an unofficial ambassador for our mission.

The Ripple Effect

Maria's dedication has inspired others. Her daughter now volunteers alongside her, and several of her coworkers have joined the team after hearing about her experience.

"When you see families leave with groceries, knowing they won't go hungry that week—there's no better feeling," Maria says. "This is my community, and I'm honored to serve it."
