About FutureThink Hub
Multiple Pathways to Economic Mobility
At FutureThink Hub, we believe that every person deserves a pathway to success—whether through further education or direct workforce entry.
Our mission is to unlock potential through multiple pathways to economic mobility. We support STARs (Skilled Through Alternative Routes)—working adults who have developed valuable skills through military service, community college, work experience, bootcamps, or self-directed learning.
We provide industry-recognized credentials that are visible, trusted, and portable. When families have food security, parents can focus on their careers and children's education. When learners earn validated credentials, doors open to opportunities they never imagined.
This is the FutureThink difference: holistic support that addresses the whole person—connecting workforce development, skills validation, and essential community support.

Brandon M. Phillips
Brandon M. Phillips founded FutureThink Hub with a vision that began not in a boardroom, but on the ground—serving families in need and witnessing firsthand the transformative power of community support.
When Brandon traveled to Mexico and saw Haitian families stranded at the border, facing unimaginable challenges, he knew he had to act. What began as emergency outreach evolved into the "Be The Sunshine During Dark Days" initiative—a reminder that even in the darkest moments, hope can shine through.
Today, Brandon leads FutureThink Hub's mission to serve over 29,000 families, deliver 20+ million pounds of food, and pioneer AI-powered education through FutureThink Edge.
"When we invest in our neighbors, we invest in our future. Every child has genius within them—our job is to create the conditions for that genius to emerge."
— Brandon M. Phillips, Founder & CEONelson Mandela Fellows Mentor
Extending our impact across continents through leadership development
Building Leaders Across Africa
As a proud Nelson Mandela Washington Fellowship Mentor, Brandon M. Phillips extends FutureThink Hub's mission of empowerment beyond Baltimore's borders. Through this prestigious program, he mentors emerging African leaders who are driving change in their communities.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship, the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), brings together Africa's brightest minds to develop their leadership skills and build lasting connections with American mentors and institutions.
Brandon works closely with Fellows to share insights on nonprofit leadership, community development, and innovative approaches to social impact—helping them amplify their work back home.

"The work we do in Baltimore is connected to a global movement of changemakers. When I mentor Mandela Fellows, I'm reminded that the challenges we face—poverty, food insecurity, lack of opportunity—are universal. But so are the solutions: community, innovation, and unwavering belief in human potential."
